Šimuni is a village next to our lovely Kolan, but down at the western side of the island, facing south-west. There’s a tiny harbour, which probably profiled the place as a fishing village in its time. Now it has a marina with recreational-looking vessels in it, a tiny promenade and some food places.
Won’t pretend to know much more, we drove through and illegally parked our Hyundai Bayon in some bushes, hoping to not have to pay for it (the whole area is a paid parking, otherwise)
The beach, apparently has a part to where they exile topless ladies, and that’s where we almost landed at first. Having swiftly corrected the misunderstanding, we’re now in some lovely semi-shade from a tree, and it couldn’t be much better. Yes it could, if my children would drive and I was buying beers to myself and not to them as it currently stands.

Got to hold it, at least
Next stop – back to my book, hopefully…
